题目: Q-Stirling numbers arising from vincular patterns

摘要: In this talk, we introduce two new statistics vls and vrs on restricted growth functions (RGFs), whose distributions are given by two classical q-Stirling numbers of the second kind Sq(n,k) and  Sq~(n,k), studied by Carlitz and Gould. The motivation for these two new statistics vls and vrs stems from their counterparts defined on pattern-avoiding permutations. As one of the corollaries of our main theorem, we derive the equidistribution on Sn(132) between the major index and certain Mahonian statistic introduced by Babson and Steingrímsson. This is joint work with Joanna N. Chen.

报告人简介：傅士硕，博士生导师。本科清华大学，2011年博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学，师从美国艺术与科学院院士George Andrews教授。2011-2012年在韩国科学技术院(KAIST)从事博士后研究工作。傅教授研究兴趣广泛，在计数组合学，q-级数以及整数分拆理论方面做出了很多优秀的工作，在European J. of Combin., Advances in Applied Math., J. of Number Theory等组合数学专业杂志发表十多篇论文。主持多项科研项目，教育部留学回国人员科研启动经费，国家自然科学基金和中央高校基本业务费学部重点项目。
