报告摘要：It is well known that the automorphism group of a curve of genus larger than 1 acts faithfully on its cohomology ring. For surfaces of general type, the situation is more complicated. In this talk, I will discuss some open questions on the classification of surfaces of general type with nontrivial automorphisms acting trivially in cohomology..

报告人简介：蔡金星，1966年生，北京大学教授。蔡金星教授的研究领域是代数几何，对代数曲面及其自同构进行了系统深入的研究，在Compos. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Algebra, Tohoku Math. J. 等杂志发表文章二十余篇。
