报告摘要:In this talk we will introduce a new logarithmic Gronwall inequality and its generalizations to the system versions. Compared with the classical logarithmic Gronwall inequalities, these new ones, if applied to the PDE systems with dissipation, make full use of the dissipative properties of the systems; while the classical ones do not. Some applications of them to the Boussinesq equations and the primitive equations will be presented. As will be shown in this talk that compared with the classical ones these new inequalities can help us to both weaken the assumptions on the initial data and reduce the numbers of required energy inequalities.

报告人简介:李进开,博士,香港中文大学数学系助理教授。入选第十四批国家“”青年项目。2006年、2008年于吉林大学分别获学士、硕士学位,2013年获香港中文大学博士学位,2013-2016年以色列威兹曼科学研究所博士后。李进开博士的研究方向为非线性偏微分方程,其研究成果发表在CPAMARMACPDESIMAJFA等高水平杂志。
