摘要:In this talk, we propose a numerical strategy to generate a sequence of anisotropic meshes and select appropriate stabilization parameters simultaneously for linear SUPG method solving two dimensional convection-dominated convection-diffusion equations. Since the discretization error in a suitable norm can be bounded by the sum of interpolation error and its variants in different norms, we replace them by some terms which contain the Hessian matrix of the true solution, convective field, and the geometric properties such as directed edges and the area of triangles. Based on this observation, the shape, size and equidistribution requirements are used to derive corresponding metric tensor and stabilization parameters. Numerical results are also provided to validate the stability and efficiency of the proposed numerical strategy.

报告人简介:阴小波,本科毕业于南开大学数学学院,随后于中科院数学与系统科学研究院硕博连读获博士学位,现任华中师范大学数学与统计学学院副教授,期间赴香港、美国等地进行学术访问,在特征值问题、常微分方程、最优控制问题、奇异摄动问题的高精度算法和各向异性网格方法,以及非局部问题的数值分析等方面发表多篇学术论文,并主持多项国家自然科学基金。。
