报告题目：Recent progress on greedy algorithms for m-term approximations

摘要: We recall some recent results on the greedy approximation with regard to both bases and dictionary. These results include Lebesgue type inequalities for thresholding greedy algorithm (TGA) with respect to quasi-greedy bases and Lebesgue type inequalities for weak Chebyshev greedy algorithm（WCGA）with respect to incoherent dictionary. It turns out that in many cases WCGA is better than the TGA.

报告人简介：叶培新，男，1972年出生，1995年于122cc太阳集成游戏获学士学位。1998年于122cc太阳集成游戏获硕士学位。2001年于北京师范大学获博士学位，2001年至2003年在中国科学院数学所做博士后。现为南开大学数学学院教授，博士生导师。

研究方向：函数逼近、连续问题计算复杂性、机器学习、压缩感知。
